1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard applies to denatured fuel ethanol, a blendstock that is used solely as a component of automotive spark ignition fuels.

1.1.1 These automotive spark ignition fuels include: CAN/CGSB-3.511 – Oxygenated Automotive Gasoline Containing Ethanol (E1- E10), and CAN/CGSB-3.512- Automotive Ethanol Fuel (E50 – E85).

This technical report compiles and provides additional information beyond that supplied in FC-MJSQ to
clarify the jitter and signal quality specification clauses of the relevant physical interfaces. It specifies budget
methods for equalized and non-equalized links and specifies and describes methods of measurement
for links using a reference receiver. The technical report specifies test patterns for scrambled and unscrambled
links. The technical report also specifies channel characteristics that have not been previously
addressed.

This standard provides physical and electrical characteristics of the group of incandescent lamps that have PAR and R bulb shapes. Lamps with clear, frosted, and lens end bulbs, with clear and prescription lenses, and with various reflector coatings are covered. Lamps covered in this standard may contain either of two basic types of light sources; an incandescent filament or a tungsten halogen inner bulb. Sunlamps and heat lamps of the R type are included. Lamps with discharge arc tubes are not included.

This document provides a protocol for evaluating the accuracy of a test to discriminate between two subclasses of subjects when there is some clinically relevant reason to separate them. In addition to the use of receiver operating characteristic curves and the comparison of two curves, the document emphasizes the importance of defining the question, selecting the sample group, and determining the 'true' clinical state.

Synchronized phasor (synchrophasor) measurements for power systems are presented. This standard defines synchrophasors, frequency, and rate of change of frequency (ROCOF) measurement under all operating conditions. It specifies methods for evaluating these measurements and requirements for compliance with the standard under both steady-state and dynamic conditions. Time tag and synchronization requirements are included. Performance requirements are confirmed with a reference model, provided in detail. This document defines a phasor measurement unit (PMU), which can be a stand-alone physical unit or a functional unit within another physical unit. This standard does not specify hardware, software, or a method for computing phasors, frequency, or ROCOF.
