1.1 This practice, intended for referee purposes, covers a uniform procedure for sampling lots of solid synthetic rubbers. Raw synthetic rubber generally is marketed in bales or packages of various sizes.

1.2 A procedure for determining the acceptability of lots of synthetic rubber is given. This procedure is based on a variables sampling plan.

1.3 The sample size is based on the assumption of a visually homogeneous material. If obvious heterogeneity exists, the number of samples shall be increased.

1.4 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.

Glassware – Hydrolytic resistance of the interior surfaces of glass containers – Part 1: Determination by titration method and classification

ISO 4802-1:2016 specifies:

a) a method for determining the hydrolytic resistance of the interior surfaces of glass containers when subjected to attack by water at 121 °C ± 1 °C for 60 min ± 1 min. The resistance is measured by titration of a known aliquot portion of the extraction solution produced with hydrochloric acid solution, in which case the resistance is inversely proportional to the volume of acid required;

b) a classification of glass containers according to the hydrolytic resistance of the interior surfaces determined by the methods specified in ISO 4802-1:2016.

Standard Test Method for Evaluating the Unconfined Tension Creep and Creep Rupture Behavior of Geosynthetics

1.1 This test method is intended for use in determining the unconfined tension creep and creep rupture behavior of geosynthetics at constant temperature when subjected to a sustained tensile loading. This test method is applicable to all geosynthetics.

1.2 The test method measures total elongation of the geosynthetic test specimen, from the time of loading, while being maintained at a constant temperature. It includes procedures for measuring the tension creep and creep rupture behavior at constant temperature of conditioned geosynthetics as well as directions for calculating tension creep and creep rupture curves.

ISO 17451-1:2016 relates to the moving of household goods and personal effects. It provides the codification of items and their condition, the transportation modes and associated data relating to a shipment. The relevant codes can be found in the related annexes and information regarding their use can be found in Clause 4.

The objective of this document is to provide a common set of codes which allow movers of household goods and personal effects to exchange shipment-related information with each other and with external partners.
