Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spectrum Matters (ERM); Transmitting equipment for the Frequency Modulated (FM) sound broadcasting service; Part 2: Harmonized EN under article 3.2 of the R&TTE Directive

Published by: 2006-03-01 / 2006-03-01 / 28 pages
The present document applies to Transmitting equipment for the frequency-modulated sound broadcasting service.

The types of equipment covered by the present document are as follows:

  • Transmitting equipment for frequency modulated sound broadcasting service operating in both Monophonic and Stereophonic operating in the frequency range 68 MHz to 108 MHz.

The present document is intended to cover the provisions of article 3.2, of Directive 1999/5/EC [2], which states that “…radio equipment shall be so constructed that it effectively uses the spectrum allocated to terrestrial/space radio communications and orbital resources so as to avoid harmful interference”.

In addition to the present document, other ENs that specify technical requirements in respect of essential requirements under other parts of article 3 of the R&TTE Directive [2] apply to equipment within the scope of the present document.

NOTE: A list of such ENs is included on the web site http://www.newapproach.org.

Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN); Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1) protocol; Supplementary service interactions; Part 2: Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma specification

Published by: 2002-04-01 / 2002-04-01 / 21 pages
The present document is applicable to the stage three of the supplementary service interactions for the pan-European Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) as provided by European public telecommunications operators at the T reference point or coincident S and T reference point (as defined in ITU-T Recommendation I.411 [5]) by means of the Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1) protocol. Stage three identifies the protocol procedures and switching functions needed to support a telecommunication service, (see ITU-T Recommendation I.130 [4]).

The present document provides the Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma for the ISDN DSS1 supplementary service interactions protocol as specified in EN 300 195-1 [1] in compliance with the relevant requirements and in accordance with the relevant guidance given in ISO/IEC 9646-7 [3].

The supplier of a protocol implementation which is claimed to conform to EN 300 195-1 [1] is required to complete a copy of the PICS proforma provided in annex A of the present document and is required to provide the information necessary to identify both the supplier and the implementation.

Integrated Services Digital network (ISDN); Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1) protocol; Completion of Calls on No Reply (CCNR) supplementary service; Part 5: Test Suite Structure and Test Purposes (TSS&TP) specification for the network

Published by: 2002-04-01 / 2002-04-01 / 21 pages
The present document specifies the Test Suite Structure and Test Purposes (TSS&TP) for the Network side of the T
reference point or coincident S and T reference point (as defined in ITU-T Recommendation I.411 [7]) of
implementations conforming to the stage three standard for the Completion of Calls on No Reply (CCNR)
supplementary service for the pan-European Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) by means of the Digital
Subscriber Signalling System No. one (DSS1) protocol, EN 301 065-1 [1].

A further part of the present document specifies the Abstract Test Suite (ATS) and partial PIXIT proforma based on the
present document. Other parts specify the TSS&TP and the ATS and partial PIXIT proforma for the User side of the
T reference point or coincident S and T reference point of implementations conforming to EN 301 065-1 [1].

Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spectrum Matters (ERM); ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standard for radio equipment and services; Part 2: Specific conditions for radio paging equipment

Published by: 2002-08-01 / 2002-08-01 / 17 pages
The present document, together with the EN 301 489-1 [1], covers the assessment of paging equipment (receivers,
transmitters and combined equipment) and associated ancillary equipment, in respect of ElectroMagnetic Compatibility
(EMC).

Technical specifications related to the antenna port and emissions from the enclosure port of paging equipment are not
included in the present document. Such technical specifications are found in the relevant product standards for the
effective use of the radio spectrum.

The present document specifies the applicable test conditions, performance assessment and performance criteria for
paging equipment and associated ancillary equipment.

Examples of paging equipment are given in annex A.

In case of differences (for instance concerning special conditions, definitions, abbreviations) between the present
document and the EN 301 489-1 [1], the provisions of the present document take precedence.

The environmental classification and the emission and immunity requirements used in the present document are as
stated in the EN 301 489-1 [1], except for any special conditions included in the present document.
