Communication Profile Family 6 (commonly known as INTERBUS&reg) defines communication profiles based on IEC 61158 2 Type 8, IEC 61158 3 8, IEC 61158 4 8, IEC 61158 5 8, and IEC 61158 6 8. The basic profiles CP 6/1 (INTERBUS) and CP 6/3 (INTERBUS minimal subset) are defined in IEC 61784 1.

This part of ISA-62453 provides information for integrating the INTERBUS&reg technology into the FDT standard (ISA-62453-2 [103.00.02]).

This part of the ISA-62453 specifies communication and other services. This standard neither contains the FDT specification nor modifies it.

Field device tool (FDT) interface specification – Part 303-1: Communication profile integration – IEC 61784 CP 3/1 and CP 3/2

Published by: 2011-05-31 / 2011-05-31 / 74 pages
Communication Profile 3/1 and Communication Profile 3/2 (commonly known as PROFIBUS&#8482) defines communication profiles based on IEC 61158 2 Type 3, IEC 61158 3 3, IEC 61158 4 3, IEC 61158 5 3, and IEC 61158 6 3. The basic profiles CP 3/1 (PROFIBUS DP) and CP 3/2 (PROFIBUS PA) are defined in IEC 61784 1.

This part of ISA-62453 provides information for integrating the PROFIBUS protocol into the FDT interface specification (ISA-62453-2 [103.00.02]).

This part of the ISA-62453 specifies communication and other services. This specification neither contains the FDT specification nor modifies it.

ISA 62453-315 (103.00.09)-2011

Field device tool (FDT) interface specification – Part 315: Communication profile integration – IEC 61784 CPF 15

Published by: 2011-06-03 / 2011-06-03 / 68 pages
Communication Profile Family 15 (commonly known as Modbus) defines communication profiles based on IEC 61158 5 15 and IEC 61158 6 15. The basic profile CP 15/1 (Modbus TCP) is defined in IEC 61784 1. An additional communication profile (Modbus Serial Line) is defined in MODBUS over Serial Line Specification & Implementation guide V1.0, Modbus IDA, 12 December 2002.This part of the ISA-62453 series provides information for integrating Modbus TCP&reg and Modbus Serial Line&reg protocol support into FDT based systems. NOTE: This part of ISA-62453 only specifies the mapping of Modbus parameters to FDT data types. For restrictions of protocol specific parameters concerning allowed values and concerning limitations of arrays used in the definition of FDT data types, refer to IEC 61158-5-15 and the MODBUS Application Protocol Specification.

Enterprise-Control System Integration, Part 3: Models of Manufacturing Operations Management (IEC 62264-3 Modified)

Published by: The International Society of Automation / 07/08/2013 / 94 pages
This Part 3 standard in the ISA-95 series defines activity models of manufacturing operations management that enable enterprise system to control system integration. The activities defined in this part of the standard are consistent with the object models definitions given in ANSI/ISA-95.00.02-2010 (IEC 62264-2 Mod) and ANSI/ISA-95.00.04-2012. The modeled activities operate between business planning and logistics functions, defined as the Level 4 functions and the process control functions, defined as the Level 2 functions of ANSI/ISA-05.00.01-2010 (IEC 62264-1 Mod).

The scope of this standard is limited to:

  • a model of the activites associated with manufacturing operations management, Level 3 functions; and
  • an identification of some of the data exchanged between Level 3 activities.

Enterprise-Control System Integration Part 5: Business-to-Manufacturing Transactions

Published by: The International Society of Automation / 07/08/2013 / 180 pages
This ISA-5 Part 5 standard defines transactions in terms of information exchanges between applications performing business and manufacturing activities between Levels 3 and 4, and within Level 3. The exchanges are intended to enable information collection, retrieval, transfer and storage in support of enterprise-control system integration. This Part 5 is consistent with the ISA-95 Part 2 and Part 4 object models. This Part 5 also defines transactions that specify how to exchange the objects defined in Part 2, Part 4, and this Part 5. Other uses of the transaction model are not defined in this Part 5 standard.
