IEC 61076-2-113:2017 describes M12 circular connectors with two data pairs and power contacts with current ratings up to 12 A, that are typically used for data and power applications in industrial premises. These connectors consist of both fixed and free connectors either rewireable or non rewireable, with screw-locking. Male connectors have round contacts diameters of 1,50 mm, 1,00 mm and 0,60 mm.
The different codings provided by this document prevent the mating of accordingly coded male or female connectors to any other similarly sized interfaces covered by other standards and the cross-mating between the different codings provided by this document.
M12 is the dimension of the thread of the screw locking mechanism of these circular connectors.

The IEC 62899-4XX series specifies the measurements and the requirements of both the quality and the reproducibility of printed patterns as the result of the interaction of printing media, inks, substrate, and environmental conditions.

IEC 60809:2014+A1:2017 is applicable to replaceable and standardised lamps (filament lamps, discharge lamps and LED light sources) to be used in headlamps, fog-lamps and signalling lamps for road vehicles. In some applications, these lamps may be installed as non-replaceable. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (1995), its Amendment 1 (1996), its Amendment 2 (2002), its Amendment 3 (2004), its Amendment 4 (2009) and its Amendment 5 (2012). This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) the introduction of requirements for non-replaceable filament lamps;
b) the introduction of requirements for LED light sources.
This consolidated version consists of the first edition (2014) and its amendment 1 (2017). Therefore, no need to order amendment in addition to this publication.

IEC TS 62861:2017(E) This Technical Specification provides guidelines for establishing confidence in product reliability using principal component testing for LED light sources and LED luminaires for general lighting. It includes methods and criteria using initial qualification tests and accelerated stress tests of the principal components. The performance of any principal component will influence the performance of the final product.
Techniques to validate full lifetime claims and lumen maintenance projection are outside the scope of this Technical Specification. The following principal components are included in the testing if they are used as an integral part for the LED light source or LED luminaire:
– LED package and interconnects;
– optical materials;
– electronic subassemblies;
– cooling systems, both active (e.g. fans) and passive (e.g. thermal interface material);
– construction materials.
This Technical Specification is not recommended for use as a normative reference to the LED product performance standards.

IEC 60068-2-69:2017 outlines test Te/Tc, the solder bath wetting balance method and the solder globule wetting balance method to determine, quantitatively, the solderability of the terminations. Data obtained by these methods are not intended to be used as absolute quantitative data for pass–fail purposes.
The procedures describe the solder bath wetting balance method and the solder globule wetting balance method. They are applicable to components and printed boards with metallic terminations and metallized solder pads.
This document provides the measurement procedures for solder alloys both with and without lead (Pb).
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
– integration of IEC 60068-2-54;
– inclusion of tests of printed boards;
– inclusion of new component types, and updating test parameters for the whole component list;
– inclusion of a new gauge R & R test protocol to ensure that the respective wetting balance equipment is correctly calibrated.

IEC 62127-2:2007+A1:2013+A2:2017 specifies absolute hydrophone calibration methods and relative (comparative) hydrophone calibration methods. This standard is applicable to:
– hydrophones used for measurements made in water and in the ultrasonic frequency range up to 40 MHz;
– hydrophones employing circular piezoelectric sensor elements, designed to measure the pulsed wave and continuous wave ultrasonic fields generated by ultrasonic equipment;
– and hydrophones with or without a hydrophone pre-amplifier. IEC 62127-1, IEC 62127-2 and IEC 62127-3 are being published simultaneously. Together these cancel and replace IEC 60866:1987, IEC 61101:1991, IEC 61102:1991, IEC 61220:1993 and IEC 62092:2001. The contents of the corrigendum of August 2008 have been included in this copy. The French version of this standard has not been voted upon. This consolidated version consists of the first edition (2007), its amendment 1 (2013) and its amendment 2 (2017). Therefore, no need to order amendment in addition to this publication.

IEC 62321-7-2:2017 describes procedures to measure hexavalent chromium, Cr(VI), quantitatively in samples of polymers and electronics. This method employs organic solvent to dissolve or swell the sample matrix, followed by an alkaline digestion procedure to extract Cr(VI) from samples. Studies have shown that organic/alkaline solution is more effective than acidic solution in extracting Cr(VI) from soluble and insoluble samples. Minimal reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) or oxidation of Cr(III) to Cr(VI) occurs under alkaline conditions. The first edition of IEC 62321:2008 was a ‘stand-alone’ standard that included an introduction, an overview of test methods, a mechanical sample preparation as well as various test method clauses. This first edition of IEC 62321-7-2 is a partial replacement of IEC 62321:2008, forming a structural revision and generally replacing Annex C. IEC 62321-7-2 is the final replacement part of the corresponding clauses in IEC 62321:2008.

IEC 62680-3-1:2017(E) defines the latest generation USB industry standard, USB 3.1. The specification describes the protocol definition, types of transactions, bus management, and the programming interface required to design and build systems and peripherals that are compliant with this specification. USB 3.1 is primarily a performance enhancement to SuperSpeed USB 3.0 resulting in providing more than double the bandwidth for devices such as Solid State Drives and High Definition displays. It refers to Enhanced SuperSpeed as a collection of features or requirements that apply to both USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 bus operation. Additionally, where specific differences exist with regard to the USB 3.0 definition of SuperSpeed features or requirements, those differences will be uniquely identified as SuperSpeedPlus (or SSP) features or requirements – generally, “SuperSpeed” is in reference to 5 Gbps operation and “SuperSpeedPlus” is in reference to 10 Gbps operation.
